Yep, $50 is the usually price I see, although every now and then I see them for as low as $30. I paid $50 for my spare TBI unit about 6 months ago.

$50 would be a good price for one with 350 injectors. Junk yards usualy have these things stacked in bins. It is not unreasonable to walk away with one for under $30.

Remove it yourself
Remove one yourself from the junkyard and it'll cost you 20-25 bucks. That's how much I paid for my spare one.

I wouldn't be so concerned about the price, but whether it is worn out or not. A worn out throttle shaft will give you all kinds of idle problems

i went junk yardin for a injector pod. the guys le tme pull of the whole tb w/ injectors, for $20 bucks. it was on some v8 van, so it was sort of hard to get off with the cowl being where it was. i didnt mind tho
