Tbi Gasket!? Wtf!!
whoa we're supposed to have a gasket between the intake manifold and the tb??lol when i pulled mine off i didnt have one and i just assumed it wasnt supposed to.
suppose that could cause my high idle and really loud sucking noise huh?? lol

Yeah, there is definitely supposed to be a gasket in between the TBI unit and the intake manifold! At least now you found the problem, and it's an easy fix.

yea the sucking sound was always pretty aggressive, since its so easy ill start there and move on to the IAC and vacuum lines
