What do yall idle at?

My 350 idles at 500 RPM's while in gear w/ no accessories running. I thought this might be a little low, but I'm curious as to what the rest of yall idle at in gear w/ no accessories?

What do yall think is too low? . . . . too high?

I know it's kind of a boring topic, just wondering. (kind of like my MPG thread )

With the bigger injectors, my car likes to idle at ~750, below that it's hard to get the pulsewidth to keep stoich.

My Tach says 500 RPM... But when I hook a laptop up to the cars computer.. It says 650 RPM

Will I ever find a tach that is accurate?

160 stat

I tried the 160 stat for a while ... bad bad idea .. my engine never warmed up completely ... your engine may be running in "warm up" mode all the time

my extremely out of tune 350 tbi runs at a low 1250 rpm if it's warm, 2000 if it's cold, maybe the tach, maybe the tune

900 when cold, 525 when warmed up whether in Park/Neutal or Drive. A/C on bumps the idle to 600 in Drive, but when you shift into Park it goes to 1,000 and stays. .
