Power Charger

Will the Hypertech Power Charger work with a 14X2 1/2 open element air cleaner?

yes it will work,
i advice to modify your air-cleaner base to get the maximum out of it.

If I can remember right, one of the Chevy magazines did a build up on a TBI county truck. And they used a Hypertech Power Charger and got around 8hp from it, due to the fact that TBI needs air comming in from the sides and not just through the top.

I used one on a 350 build a couple of years ago. When combined with a 14x3 open element with the base cut to fit to the powercharger, I saw 10 RWHP. Bumped it from 255 RWHP to 265 RWHP. But then again, it did away with two air flow reducers. The factory drop based air cleaner and the 2 1/2" tall spacer ring.
