Well, you don't have a MAF sensor, TBI is speed density, and ;you can just plug the vacuum line. Look at the stickies above there's a very detailed walkthrough on how to install this, read through all of them.

There were L03 Trans Ams, as well as L03 IROC-Zs.

LOL, IIRC the same guy tried to push his tach past the stop on numerous occasions, but never did any harm to his L03.

I'm looking at your set up........did you have to get a custom chip with all the mods you made or were they all just bolt on and go???

Snflupigus,

I want to redo my L03. I was thinking of adding the Holley 670 TBI and tbi intake. DO you have any suggestions on this. Is this worth doing or is there a better bang for my buck and do I have to worry about having a custom chip burned.

89 RS with 305 TBI, edelbrock headers, dual cats, flowmaster exhaust.

670 is not worth it on a 305 unless you've rebuilt the entire motor to make over 300hp imho.

TBI intakes I dont like as they are bulky and it seems to make more sense to me to buy a squarebore intake and use an adapter. easier and larger market to sell a squarebore intake later if you change your setup.

if you did either of those you'd probably want a custom chip.

bank for the buck? change your rearend gears -- cam &!! intake
Save up for heads.

Snfluupigus,

What set up would you recommend to get 300 hp from a 305. What type of heads, cam, , intake, compression, TBI, etc....would you recommend.

Already have headers, 3" flowmaster exhaust with dual cats, 3:42 gears, audurn diff. and tranny rebuilt with corvette servos.

Thanks
