i just checked out your setup, you have pretty much the same setup shane buss had, exactly the same actually except he has 3.73s
Got any times with it yet? I think the fastest he ran with just generic iron heads was low 14s and then dipped deep into the 13s with vortecs
im running the same cam, but wit ha single plane manifold, stock throttle body, and with a 305

you also inquired as to what pump i was running, im running a high pressure unit, intank just a parts store pump, chose it out of the fuel pump catalog, i think it goes in caddilacs and some trucks stock. Something like 36 psi and 42 gph. Ive had it up to 50 psi and it worked fine (probably not too healthy for it though )

bah heres more, the stock throttle body is way too small even with the single plane. Im gonna bore it out to 48mm which is probably the most you can go on it. That makes it the same size as the stock TPI throttle body. Which is where i got the throttle plates from

Just saw this, sorry...

Just to let you know what kind fo guy I am, I'll change a cam on a Saturday just to see if it will change my power/mileage! Same with axle gears. anyway...

No times. I have 2 million thins to try, first. If I cannot get 65lbs injectors quickly, I will try to locate 454 TBI (rochester stuf, don't like Holley injectors) and I think it uses 75pph injectors??? Then I will screw w/tuning and stuff. I really would like to put on a small supercharger, like the cheapo Weiand, but I am kinda nervous abou ttuning that setup when I haven't fully tried/programmed a normally aspirated engine. Oh, my iron heads were ported to flow much more than the Vortec's, can't find the flowbench sheet... Have to use FelPro1205 gasket, minimum, though. Nice heads, now, but heavy: Have 2.02/1.6 stainless valves, new guides, springs, locks, screw-in studs and guideplates, roller rockers. Basically, not crate motor heads anymore... Buddy gave me a pretty good price: good to have friends in low places...

You're probably thinking, he's got parts on the floor somewhere. Yep, 3.07 gears, 4.56 gears, 212/222 crate motor cam, Edelbrock 3702/2101/2102 cams, Edelbrock ProFLo Fuel injection system, distributors(new/old HEI's), regs, Edel Performer AL heads. I also have similar (carb, for now) motor in my 1990 Jeep wrangler that I am screwing w/more now than other cars. I have sooooooo many Jeep parts it's not funny. Too bad this isn't a Jeep site. You ever see a 300= hp Wrangler **** off a sports car??? Pretty funny. It's 2wd now, to save weight.
