Post you 1/4 times
Hey TBI guys. I just thought it would be cool to see who runs the fastest times in the 1/4 and what they have done to their engines. Starting 305 TBI people could see what mods to what and know what to expect in the 1/4 when they go to the track with certain mods or no mods. Post your stock times and your modified times and you don't have to have both and list your mods off.

Hey Josh, whats up? this is Eric. I still think you have the fastest 305 tbi on any thirdgen site. But lets see what I run. Maybe it will be close to yours, all I need is a cam to be equal with your mods.

get this guys,
my best e.t is 14.69
my best mph in the 1/4 is 106.4
go figure
my 60' times are embarrasing, and its not from wheel spin. no big lumming cloud of hazy smoke. my car almost shuts down out of the whole but as soon as the rpm builds it will pull your skin off. its like ive got a big V-8 honda civic. love to tell my mph, hate to tell my e.t. im changing the chip and tbi unit in hopes of curing the bogging problem.

I have no idea Pablo, it came with the car and I never bothered to check it. It's nothing really special though, this thing idles too smooth to have a very lumpy cam. It's probably a L89 or mabye a little bigger, but nothing very exciting.

Wow we have a couple quick cars here especially 88camaroZZ4, that is a brutal combo you have there!
and Mike, your car is unusually fast for the mods it has, impressive
and Mike, your car is unusually fast for the mods it has, impressive
yeah i know it seems kinda quick, i'm waiting for that dissapointment I know i'm in for when i take it to the track.
I'm just not sure though, because i've raced a couple of 95-97 4th gen camaros(1 with some light mods) and only been beaten by literaly a half a car lenght to a car length on the modded one. Also a friend had a 89 formula 350 with dual cats 3.42 gears and a 3inch exhaust, and i could edge him out in the 1/4 and his car ran low to mid 14's.
hope to get to track befor winter...i'll post my times then....
