I'm a baaaadddd mannn. Ok I will start.
I would go with NOS. Why u say? Well for me I would because I personally woulnd't be using the bottle constently. I wouldn't put NOS on my 305tbi (waste of time) I would but it on my ZZ4 (when I get it put in) Plus, doesn't a supercharger always put stress on your engine and with NOS you could choose whethere or not to put stress on your engine at that moment. Seems like it would be better for your engine that way. I am not sure but is NOS easier to install than a supercharger? That could be a factor too. But I am not sure. Someone that has done it would have to back that up. Oh, and with NOS you could make your car a sleeper. Cause when u pop a hood you can obviously see a blower, but you can hide NOS. My friends uncle did it with his 99 SS. Hid the needles in the air box and ran everything underneath with black rubber hose wrapped around the blue wires and NOS stuff. If you look at the engine it looks completly stock, stock except that it runs a 12.1 in the 1/4 mile. Now thats the kinda stuff I would like. Surprising the guy next to ya. Ok, who is my opponent....(I have an idea who it will be)

NOS hands down
and Eric, how long are we gonna have to hear about your ZZ4 before you actually get one? you are starting to sound like a ***** and the mythical "Turbo" setup that they are getting to put them into the tens

my question to you all would be this: Why would you settle for just the Supercharger, or just the NOS, when you can have both?
Nitrous and Supercharging work great together, and that way when your long since dead and buried, at least you will know you spent every last dime you had on your car leaving nothing for anyone else, and you ran 11's all day long.
that's my view.

Hey Pablo, I just put that in my sig last week! Sorry I didn't jump up and buy it yet. COLLEGE KID. I am going to try and purchase it next summer with my brother. I make good money in the summer time with 2 jobs so I will be able to afford it then, but for now. I make 85 bucks every 2 weeks.
I will get it, don't worry. You want me to take it out of my sig for u so u don't have to see it anymore Pablo? and why didn't u like my joke on the supercharger tbi thread? I thought pabLO3 was a good one. Sorry about claiming u ran 13's. I just got confused when u said that it wasn't impossible to get a 305 to run 13's and then u said I would "soil" my pants if I went for a ride in your car. I just thought u meant that it ran 13's. You can see where I got confused. I'm a BBBAAAADDDD MAN!

actually mike is right
but if there was a choice between the two, id choose nitrous. THe money you save can be put into the motor to be better suited for the NOS
course superchargers are nice but i dont like the idea of a supercharger on tbi

eric...lol...thats funny $hit
well i would take the $2500 (or whatever it is to get a blower) and redo my WHOLE suspension and brakes.
the $600 on the NOS would probly go for a couple new tires, and the left over would probly get me a few tanks of gas.
i just dont like all that power adder stuff...i dunno..it just seems like its too hard on a motor.
(this next comment is NOT meant to start any kind of frieking war or whatever, its jsut what i think about the subject...)
and it is "fake" power. me...i'll be "keepin it real" with my good old small block with loud exhaust and bad mileage. lol...i'm sticking with my roots...who need all that other crap.
just my opionion.

Wow, that was a short fight. I guess the answer would be "Why choose just one when you could have both."
NOS = on demand
Supercharger = all the time
Both = "RIP, YOU WERE FAST."

why not put Nos on your 305? you're gonna replace it anyway. get a Torker 2. Drill and tap some fogger nossils and go for it. Then you could put the intake on your next engine or sell it. Some 1.6 roller rockers would be cool too. Those can go on your 350 too.

Yeah but all that crap comes with the 350 that I am getting so why bother? (not including the NOS) Plus wouldn't NOS just about MURDER or 305's? Since u need strong rods and strong pistons?

lol no chevys get forged pistons from the factory. Mustangs got them from mid 80s to 93. why you think they were kicking *** so much? Nos is nothing to forged pistons. They also had lower compression than Chevy motors which they loved 'chargers and nos too.

Are u sure man? I asked about that on the NOS board and they said I would need strong rods and pistons. Like Forged pistons or PM rods. (I think it was forged pistons, that was awhile ago)

Top end Chevys(LT1, LT4, L98...) get cast hyperutectic pistons. They are inbetween cast pistons and forged pistons. 305s shouldn't be reved over 6000 I think before a rod or piston can go. The valve springs are a known sore spot too. It seems like the stock valve springs will fail before a rod or piston will on a 305TBI
