A thought about dyno figures
A thought about dyno figures
Following are some things I have noticed.
The ZZ4 is rated at 355hp. When installed as part of the ZZ4 fbody package, the engine makes 308hp.
The LG4 is rated at 145hp. When run on the dyno, with no long block changes, it made 197hp (per Car Craft).
In the two above mentioned cases they used long tube headers on the dyno. This, plus correction factors results in the number differences (net vs gross).

Yeah, on that LG4 engine dyno run they added long tube headers and dual 2.5" w/ Flowmasters.
