Are you sure its motor oil and not a build up of unburnt fuel? How does the thing run?
If it is oil I'd first replace the pcv valve it's only a couple bucks and takes just a minute to change. Good luck.

No if it was your pcv system all the plugs would have oil on the threads. It is either bad rings in one cylinder, but unlikely they would all wear the same. It could also be a intake leak from the valley into an intake port of one cylinder which would suck oil in the cylinder. Does your car burn oil?

Did the electrode have oil on it? If not don't worry about it, you can't worry about every little thing like that, I know I've tried.
About the smoke in the morning, all of us have it, well amost everybody.

To all members who (still) have blue smoke after startup.
I recommend buying an oil additive by BARDAHL. It is a metal can you get at auto part stores (Canadian Tire perhaps) with a big "2" on it.
Use it. Took away my smoke....maybe it'll do the same for you.
Thanks dad.

Any chance you simply have a valve cover gasket leaking and oil is running around the sparkplug hole? Under these conditions, as you pull the plug its threads get well oiled. The electrode of the plug should not be fouled with oil, if this is the case, unless it gets 'dipped' when you removed it.
