I got headers!!!!

yipeeeee
Hooker headers. 2.5" y pipe to 3" outlet. 50 state legal. They look WAYYYY cleaner than the edelbrock headers we put on my friends 88GT mustang. And the Y pipe has an excelent looking transition. No double crunched Ds over here. Why Hooker and not Edelbrock or SLP? 1.the name 2. I like being different (as all of you do with your TBIs). 4. no staggard primaries 3. no waiting weeks for shipping. Just went to PAW and got them....

That sounds great, hopefully I'll be just as excited next week when I swap in the 350.

for people with more patients than I, you can get them for $349.00 at summit, www.summitracing.com , with free shipping. That way (unless you're in NV(no sales tax anyway) or OH) you can avoid sales tax.

Brand: Hooker, PN: 2055

Weren't you gonna get the $140 buck ones? Did you just decide the coated ones were worth it?

they aren't coated. There are no 50-state legal headers for $140

Wouldn't these be legal? You can get them with so that they accept smog tubes.

EDIT: I made a few typos on my first post. It might have sounded different before I fixed it.

those aren't legal in CA. They have no E.O. number making them smog legal. My headers have a tag on them with the E.O. number on it to say they are legal in CA. Mine are more expensive because that E.O. number is expensive to get because of all the tests and who knows what.

It must suck to live in CA. If I ever get headers I probably won't even get ones with smog fittings.

Is there any real difference between the ones or $140 and the ones with the tag?

I wouldn't wana live anywhere else in America . I bet they are the exact same header although I can't be sure of it. For that cheap a price you should get some and have them coated.
