Just as a reference I ran 14.791 on stock cam, heads, intake, and tbi.
Mods: 3.73 posi rear, 1.6 stamped rockers, crank pulley, shorties, cat back and a whole lot of suspension mods on Goodyear GTIIs.

If you are really serious about the LT1 cam and all that tuning then go for it. But if you want some great gains on a stock tune then go with headers, cat-back, and 3.73s.

slap stick

slap stick would be driving it like a manual but without the pedal. my dad's 1971 340 cuda can also be driven this way.

Outside of the McDonald's parking lot, that's called "shifting manually".

In Phoenix without some serious weight reduction that combo won't run low 14's.
