Help with Emmissions URGENT

Hey guys I REALLY need some help with my emmissions I dont get it. the car wont pass new rotor new cap new wires new plugs new fuel filter and my car is still in the same place as before emmisions wise 4% off on the HC's Ive ran tank after tank after tank of the injector cleaner and have run nothing but supreme for a month now and still its high. should I just go and get some of that stuff from napa that guarentees that you will pass emmissions? Im almost to the point that I think its the cat. not sure how much it costs to replace it though I know its gonna be around $90 though I dont think it could be the EGR because the engine only has 37K on it hell the whole car only has 37 K on it. But I need to get this done thurday cuz I have to go to court for not having plates while driving it ( expired temp ) and I cant get plates till it passes immisions but If I have plates when I go to court on tuesday they will most likley wave the fine.

the point is if you live where there are mountains, all that crap in the air turns into a giant cloud of crap and doesn't like going away.

when i bought my car i ran it through emmissions to get my tags and blew 792 on the hc scale with an applicable standard of 220 for my car. i bought new plugs and wires and took it through a few hours later and blew a 32, yes i did say 32. hc is unburned fuel. most common probs are plugs, wires, pcv, oil change, and the wonderful VACCUM LEAK. make sure your car is at operating temp when you take it through. that means 220*. if you fail again, next time you go you should ACCIDENTILY drop a crisp $20 bill when you hand him/her the paperwork. works like a charm.

Definitely get the car tuned up, and have the timing checked. A bad EGR would show a fault code, so would a bad O2 sensor. With 37k I wouldn't think you have any serious problems.

I just had the excact same problem and tried the same fixes you did. Mine wound up being the coverter ($220 installed). A bad EGR valve would cause you NOX gases to be high. A bad O2 sensor could also be a problem but you should be getting a trouble code.
