I think I'm seeing 13.180 @ 102.52 for the 1/4 mile right? Was that on slicks or street tires?

Those times that I got were with street slicks that were warmed up and my friends dad said that I had heavy wheelspin from the hole until prob like around like 30 feet from the line. Obviously i have major traction problems as these times were with 11.50 wide slicks.

Boy, I sure am glad that i know everylast detail of your car. I would have never guessed that I would have seen a 305 go that fast and never touched the engine itself. When you emailed me that page with all of your car's details it all started to make sense.

Wow, its funny to see a 305 TBI run a time like that. Its like seeing a pig fly. Or gettting to the end of the rainbow where the weeee little leprachan mechanic has a pot of NOS tanks for the lucky TBI victor....yes it would be a great thing.....of course he has probably waited at the end of that rainbow for so damn long he is just skull and bones now and sucked all the NOS tanks so we could die merry.

I like pie

My 305 runs low 14's. All I had to do was replace the intake, TBI unit, cam, add headers, add 3" exhaust and a flowmaster, add a MSD 6AL, blaster coil, and a few small things.

God I have this engine, it's not the TBI, I know that now, its the 305. It's the sickest V-8 I've ever seen. I got beat by a pickup truck 4 times at the dragstrip, and he had a N/A V-6!!!!!

God I love the LO3.

Somewhere over the rainbow....way up high....there was an LO3 I heard of once in a lalalbye. LoL, I spelled that so wrong.

Yeah, its amazing how these things run mid 16's stock and the things people go thru to get them to break into 14's. (cough cough Pablo cough cough)... And to see a guy running 13's is just awesome.

Actually, I think I'm going to go junkyard rummaging. I originally wanted my car to run 12's, who knows, maybe I'll do it someday :P

You don't have to do a lot to them. You just have to do the right things. which is the exhaust, intake, heads, cam, gears. Which everybody on this board does anyway, whether it be carb, tbi, or tpi.

That won't get you to the 12's but c'mon it's a 305(econo smog engine) what do you expect?

Ha! You think we haven't tried that? All he'll say is "nitrous". Which is probably the right thing to do. He did the work, he deserves being the fastest TBI 305 on the board for a while.
That's amazing that you pullled a 1.7 60', and still complained that you didn't have traction. I think all four of my wheels would have to drive to get that time. Good job.
