TBI Cams, no not about LT1's
I am wondering if Chevy gave TBI cars different cam specs through the years.
Are there any more radical than others because of "gas guzzler" taxes and such?

i dont think the camshaft specs on 305 tbi cars changed much being the motor was only ran in the car from 88-92.

The 305 TBI engines in f-bodies all have the same camshaft. The 350 Caprices had a different cam, however.

Technically that's not true.
The CFI 305s,which are TBI, in Fcars for 1983-1984 used a flat tappet cam that had different specs than the TBI 305 used in 1989-1992 Fcars. Otherwise I agree.
Two different cams were used in 350 Caprice TBI engines.
Non-police TBI 350 Caprice, as well as all TBI Roadmaster and TBI Olds Custom Cruisers, used the same cam as the 1989-1992 305 TBI Fcar.
Police model (9C1) TBI 350 Caprice used a different cam ("773" pn suffix) --- as borrowed from the TPI 350 parts bin.
FWIW.
