It is probably in tank baffles are broken off. Does it happen with a full tank of gas???

Also check your fuel pressure to make sure you maintain the constant 12-14

Well, it is the baffles. To keep fuel sock from uncovering most EFI tanks use baffle to keep fuel from quickly moving away during rapid changes in direction. When you have 3/4 to full tank fuel sock is always covered. Problem is much worst when gas level is below 1/4 level.

Well, yes it can be hard without a hydraulic jack and jack stands. Actually, if the tank is empty - I just support it with the jack and slowly lower it until filler neck clears. Having another pair of hands makes it much easier.
Warning! Make sure that you have all safety equipment handy - gas tanks are fire hazard especially empty ones. Plenty of ventilation and safety glasses.

Re: I have this problem with my fuel system
The rear end and exaust have to come off the car to get the tank out. There aren't a lot of options out there either, the baffled fuel tanks are hard to find, Just fill the car up more often. Easy solution.
