I have not delt with TBI much, but I drive a 94' 3/4 ton Chevy truck with a TBI 350 back and fourth for work and am looking into mods....came across this ECM...
Thought some of you would be interested.

we know all about Rbob's site and it has basically changed the way tuning is involved with Tbi. I can't wait to get mine!

interesting, what is the diff between this and the custom tuning of chips that is always talked about on this site(witch still looks complicated)

You're still tuning. With the EBL classic you tune and burn chips, and with the EBL flash you tune and just flash it to the ECM.
I have the classic version because the flash unit wasn't available at the time of my purchase. It, along with a wide band O2, is one of the best investments I've made so far.

You need a laptop to tune for any method you use. Technically, you could burn chips with a PC, but then you wouldn't know what to change because you can't datalog.
The EBL flash has the "chip" on board, so you just plug in the cable and flash the new data into your ECM.
The prices are on the dynamicefi website.

For $350, this seems like a deal. Considering all the hardware you have to buy and ship just to tune yourself. So this totally does away with the Prom Burners, RW prom chips, UV eraser, datalogging through the ALDL, and all that?

Now, what is the difference between this, and the ostrich?
