Hi Guys,

I done the 305 to 350 TBI Swap and now I have a Problem. Everything is hooked up correctly and all the Parts are new.
I have Spark, the Fuel Pump is Priming but the Injectors wont Spray!

I got an 8746 ECM from a Caprice and the Chip that was in there is one from ADS.
Could that be that the Vats System is activated? I have no VATS on my Car?

Or is the Spark Modul in the Distrubtor not sending a Signal to the ECM so that it knows that it should pulse the Injectors?

I´m Stuck on this, please help!!!!

What ecu was in the car to begin with?

 

If it is the Computer what you mean, it was the 8063 and I swaped it to the 8746.

Is the car trying to start as in the engine turning over with the starter?

 

Yes the Engine is Turning and the Starter does his Job, everything sounds normal. Could that ESC be bad and thats why the ECM doesn´t give the Pulse for the Injectors?

 

I'm not the one that can answer that question. Do you have a service manual?

 

Found the Error, the VATS was activated in the Chip!!

 

I didn't think that Caprice's used VATS. That may be how you ended up with the ECM & chip, it wouldn't run in the Caprice either. VATs on the Camaro & Firebird TBI cars started in '89.
