Re: Performer RPM intake on TBI heads?!?!

For one, dont waiste your time, get an intake that will match those junk heads RPM capability, for 2, go to enginekits.com and buy a regular nock off performer intake that is cheaper and comes slotted with the hardware to make it bolt up to your heads perfectly. Dont go destroying a good intake when you can save the money and get one that is right on the nose for less.

BTW, its called professional products, that is the brand of intake.

Re: Performer RPM intake on TBI heads?!?!

If you plan on doing heads in the future why would you waste the money on a cheap knock off intake, and then purchase another one in the future?? What type of set up or combo do you have right now?? Cam/Ignition/Headers/ Chip tuning etc??

Re: Performer RPM intake on TBI heads?!?!

Well i have a stock engine right now (besides for some crap pure low end torque cam the previous owner install so i was told) But i swapping to carb so i can tune myself and upgrade little by little as money comes.
I will be running:
Holley 670 4bbl
Performer RPM intake (but the equivalent in the knock off brand)
and MSD StreetFire 8362
and the already installed Hooker Shortys

The reason im doing it just for now is because my AFR's are reading out at 18+ in standard driving and so i have to adjust that (easiest way i think is with a carb) and im scrapping the pits for the money to do even this lol

Re: Performer RPM intake on TBI heads?!?!

Dont be worried, i have the nock off RPM air gap polished, it is greta, looks great and worked well enough to destroy EVERY LS1 car i came across that was not on nitrous.
