Guys , I have Serious problem... PLEASE HELP

I have a problem. Does anyone have an idea of what could be causing my car-engine to suddenly stop while driving, afterwhich a light goes on saying "Service Engine Soon". After that I have no problems starting the engine. The car is 2500km after a full service, without a change of valves and shaft. Also I notice it looses engine oil, but there's no smoke from the exhaust-pipe. Any advice or ideas?

The check engine light comes on because it stalls. When did this start happening. what type of driving, is it random, etc as much info as possible

I'm driving it quiet lightly, it's happening mostly in the city, where I rarely pass 2000 rpm, the steering wheel locks, brakes become hard, the engine stops suddenly...

yea, the engine dying is causing that...

and you say your losing oil? your losing oil pressure, or you mean your car is just burning oil?

do you have to add oil frequently? could have other issues if so.

Check for codes. Jump A and B (top right slots in ALDL, found under steering wheel) with a paper clip; turn key to ON--DO NOT START. Count number of times check engine light flashes (read it as a 2 digit number).
