Sorry Jonas, but i needed to have the WINALDL program minimize to the taskbar , so i altered it abit .. i also setup the program to auto load the dash Panel on start of the program,,
also removed the extra exit boxes from each of the windows..one X is good enough :-)

you do not need to uninstall your existing winaldl program to try this altered version,,the file is called winaldl_2.exe..simply place it in the winaldl folder and now you have both versions ..just make a shortcut to the new one ..or open the folder and execute it manually..

hmm ok , try this as txt file then..just remove the .txt from the end of the file

 

Dam thing wants to auto load as txt when clicked grrrrrr

 

you have to remove the .txt from the end of the file before you open it rename it to winaldl_2.exe

if you dont see the extension on the end of the file then you have to goto folder options in windows and under the view tab uncheck hide extensions for known file types..this will let you rename the extensions on your files

 

no just trying to download it, it wants to load the txt file, not as a download, stupid old browser.

 

OH ok ..try right clicking on the file and choose save target as..when it ask for what you want to save it as just type winaldl_2.exe and it should save it without the txt on the end of it

 

hmm ok that last one doesnt work like i said it does..but it should at least let you download the file tho lol

 

I got an email from someone asking if I could remove the "Are you Sure?" Dialog box when exiting out of the program.
Also from the same person "Could you set the program to load the datalog tab like you did with the Dash".
The answer to both are mmm yeah i guess so.
So here it is.
I solved the question i had about the new popup dialog box..don't ask me who or how or why it was in the winaldl program... all i can say is it's a popup dialog box from cuteftp.
I've installed the winaldl program 3 times now and it's def part of the original exe file. maybe Jonas was going to use it, but never got around to incorporating it in the program.. oh well hehe

So i think i'm gonna remove that dialog box ,,, no sense having something in there if it aint doing anything meaningful :-)
