car stalling when started....

car stalling when started....

Once and awhile my car stalls when I start it. Then I start it right back up and its fine. Why is this

Mine did the same thing 4 a while then I had to put fuel pump on its starts then cut off right? Sometimes right.?

My fuel pump is like 2 years old so it shouldn't be dead already, and im not sure what the idler thing is

IAC is an idle air control valve located on passanger side of TBI above the TPS. Also if you used an aftermarket fuel pump from a local parts house it is most likely it was made in China and they are not long lifed pumps. Had to replace two in my truck in a year. Third one is a Delphi from GM and no probs for three years.

Does the car stay at a higher idle for awhile after it is warmed up? If do suspect the IAC.

Check your refrence voltage at both the TPS & IAC at startup.

also a sign of a failing ignition control module! Have you fixed your issue ?
