Anybody running this setup? I'm thinking this will be my next upgrade along with Vortec heads.

Re: Holly Avenger EFI

Try the alternative port efi board right below the tbi board, probably better luck gettin responses there. Also try searching for it im sure you'll come up with some answers.

Re: Holly Avenger EFI

Go to the alternative port efi board and then search just "avenger efi" many hits come up, and from what i saw, yes many people are runnin it, most going the stealth ram route. Hopefully you'd be making the same decision. I gotta ask though, why are you lookin to spend a couple thousand on a efi setup for a 305?

Re: Holly Avenger EFI

Bigreed91, why would I go with the Ram over the standard style? I'm new to some of this so this may be a stupid question.

Re: Holly Avenger EFI

The standard tbi uses 2 or 4 injectors in the center of the intake, your middle cylinders will always have a richer mixture than your front and rear cylinders. The tunnel ram is a tpi setup, meaning you have one injector per cylinder that sprays right behind the intake valve. Therefore not only is every cylinder getting the correct amount of fuel but the fuel is atomizing a lot more. Now hopefully its sequential port meaning each injector fires seperately, non sequrntial will fire all 8 at the same time, not a huge difference though and not very noticeable as fast as the engine turns.
