Intake manifolds

Hello TBI'ers,
Who's running a single plane manifold on a daily driver?? More importantly, how does it run?? Is there any good reason to stay with the dual plane??

TIA

im pretty sure dual plane produces better throttle responce and make better torque than a single plane

Pablo does on a 310, I think Dan W. does on a 350, Shane B did/(does?) on a vortec 355, I got one but I'm waiting for an LT1 cam. The frist one turned out to be too rusty.

I went from a edelbrock performer with GM Iron heads to a Weiand Street Ram with AFR heads. Throttle response actually vastly improved with the single plane and afr's... not that it was bad with the dual plane / gm heads but it was just down right snappy with the single plane when the throttle blades cracked open.

I would not say that throttle response is a problem with TBI and single planes.

What kind of single plane has EGR?

Which single plane is probably the best for an LT1 cammed, 5,800 RPM turning L03?

Thanks

my friend has a smog shop so visual inspections are no problem as long as it passes the tailpipe. Even if he didn't have a shop, an intake swap every 2 years isn't a big deal.
