You unplug the fuel pump relay, then start the car and let it run till it dies, this should only take about 3-5 seconds. I dont know where it is on an f body though, sorry.

um. Maybe. Best thing is to get a Chiltons manual and find where that fuse is.

What about if you cannot start the car?
I have the starter (and more) removed and need to release pressure. I have a TPI.

If you're working on a tbi car thats been sitting for a while without the ignition being turned on to the start position, just take the fuel line fittings lose. You won't have any fuel pressure because it will have bled off by then. Just through a rag underneth the area you're working on to catch any excess that might dribble out.

I just remove the fuel cap and disconnect the battery whenever i adjust my fuel pressure.

undo the gas cap and the fuel pump relay..the relay is located on the back of the tank...just crawl under the rear end of the car and look straight up on the back wall of the tank...there is a big weather pack connector, just unplug it....good luck
