well i prefer msd over accel because i hate there wires, they dont really click in place and i have to push the cord back in the boot every so often

My MSD wires melted internally. I had the 8 mm ones and they balloned up to twice their normal size and melted along my valve covers. I usually advocate for MSD and their usual qulity but not this time. I run GM wires now and Acell Cap and rotor.

I went with the MSD 8.5mm Superconducters, MSD Cap/Rotor, and MSD Blaster Coil and I am very happy with the results that I have had them for a year of driving.

I have the MSD cap and rotor which has worked well and looked fine when I pulled it off; I ran it for a year. I dont really like the Accel wires cause they burnt prematurely before. Right now I am running Taylor wires, which have worked excellent. They have a higher resistance though than the MSDs but they wont burn, and I like that.

You have to watch and make sure your are getting suppression wires. You can't run a spiral core. MSD are suppression at a low resistance. Other wise ACDelco p/n 618V are 8mm wires with 90 degree spark plug boots. I used the Delco due to the price and Mr Gasket makes excellent wire dividers that bolt to the two middle (center bolt) bolts holding valve covers on. However, I think they might be on back order currently. It took a couple weeks to get mine.
