Edelrbrock intake, S/R torquer, and LT1CAM
Hey Ya'll Im a long time reader first time poster hear and I was hopeing ya'll could clear things up for me, Ive been comeing hear for the last year trying to find out way to improve my 91RS 305ci TBI. I keep hearing people talk about the Elderbrock intake, S/R torquer heads and the LT1 cam, im now looking into makeing all these mods to my car and was wondering what hp/tqr gains I can expect to see with all three mod's, which ones to do first, and if their is anything special I have to do while installing these mod's EX. I heard someone saying I have to mill something down on the lt1 cam befor install. I already have done some mod's which should appear (I don't know, this is my first post) in my sig. if not hear they are. edelrbrock TES headers, Random tech supper high flow cat, flowmaster AT cat back and K&N open air element with the xtream lid. Thanks for any help and sorry for being long winded

mid as well do them all at the same time if you can...to do a head swap the intake will have to come off and to do a cam swap the intake will have to come off and the rockers disconnected...it would be much easier to just do it all at the same time i bet youll **** your pants to after you get everything worked out and drive it for the first time after changing all the things that hold the 305 back...your gonna have to have somekind of crazy chip made or it will run like crap and if you still have the stock 2.73 rear end youll need a 3.42 or 3.73 posi to see full results...like my buddy said after i outran his supercharged mustang "i told you, you could have the most powerful engine but if you can put it to the ground its worthless" also if the suspension still stock? that could use a changing...subframe connectors would be nice to have...there are alot of \things you have to consider...just because you throw a bunch of money into the engine doesnt neccassarily mean it will be as fast as you are expecting without the suspension
Hey TBI305, what have you done to your car? If you beat a supercharged mustang you must have a little money in it. I saw a couple weeks ago one of your posts said you were thinking about getting a mustang since your car felt so slow, did you change your mind?
BTW, I got some family up in B'ville, next time I'm up maybe I can check out your car.

Sounds like a plan! I do need suspenshion work and 3.42's with semi posi is in the works right now. So everything should be a direct bolt on then huh? What about the heads, is there a certain measurement the compresshoin chamber should be?

Stock combustion chambers are 58cc. I really don't think you should go over 60cc, but some of the guys here have went as far as 64cc with little to no problems. Just keep in mind things like wether or not you plan to put a supercharger on there later.

Thanks for all the advice, So what would haveing a combustion chamber of 54cc do, or is it even worth it, isn't it the bigger the combustion chamber the more compresshion you'll loose, I was just thinking 54cc would produce a higher compresshion?? If not, I guess ill just stay with 58cc.

So would it then be to my advantage to go with 54cc, would I gain more hp/tq vs. going with 58cc. If so thats bad ***!!
