First time at track ;)
I went to Dinwiddie Friday, and entered into the test & tune, and had three runs.
First run Second Run Third run
1.1 RT .98 1.4
2.4 60' 2.1 60' 2.4
14.97 ET 14.91 ET 15.03
94.09 MPH 91.5 MPH 92.02
I ran my car in the first run, and let Zepher WS6 drive it the second and third.
I spun pretty badly but shifted at around 5.2k rpm and finished around 4.4k in 3rd
Zepher WS6 got a better 60ft, but shifted into third @ 4k rpm instead of 5.2k
I don't know what he was doing the third run.
I should have video's as soon as his brother converts it to mpg.
I had a lot of fun
I got beat by a 12.0 428 Pontiac GTO, a 12.5 5.0 Mustang
I beat a early 90's Cadillac

A 94mph is about 230hp giver or take a few and if your car weighed 3600 with you. If you launch perfect and snap a 2.0 60' while shifting slightly past redline (5400 sound abour right), you should be able to run a mid 14. I'd say arond 14.5 best but more likely a 14.6/14.7 next time you go.

Wow, u have pretty much every mod I have except the relocation brackets for traction and the LT1 cam w/ intake. Your 60 ft. time could be better. I pulled a 2.02 w/ my 255/50/16 Kumho ECSTA Supra 712's. I am sure if u set ur rear tires psi around 24 or less u might have been able to hook better....or did u already do that?

Yeah, 40psi is way too high for the rear tires! I run 36 all around just because I want better gas milage. I'd run 34 or 32 psi if it's hot out just because the psi goes up when the car starts to heat up the tires. Do yourself a favor and lower the psi next time but don't do it a lot, just keep playing with it. For the most part a radial doesn't have much play in it anyways so sometimes it requires big jumps like from 40 to 20psi so make a noticable difference in traction.
It looks like the Lt1 cam is doing very well with that motor. Drop the front sway bar end link (just one) and keep the front tires at ~36psi.
There are a lot of other drag tricks to get a lower 60' but you can do a search on the organized drag board for more tips.

Thanks for the advice. I'll definately be lowering my psi in my rear tires, and I'll look into the endlink suggestion.
The cam really did make a difference, as well as the gears, Holley intake manifold, and free flowing exhaust.
After I pay off a few bills, my next plans are to have my TB bored out to 48mm by a friend of a friend, and then some Hooker LT's to replace my dynomax headers (the way it is setup leads to a Very low spot in my exhaust that has been scraped halfway closed
). , and a pair of Flowmaster 40's. I am also thinking of switching to dual 3" instead of dual 2.5". I don't care much for low end torque any more as this is no longer my daily driver (1.9l SOHC TBI power'd Ford Escort
, and I believe I made a mistake going glasspacks instead of flows from what I have been hearing.
I will be going back in 1 or 2 weeks, and I'll keep everyone posted. I found my actual slips, So I'll post em right now.

Damn dude. Those R/T got to be some of the worst I've ever seen. No offense
You do know that you GO on green right? j/k Good times.
You do know that you GO on green right? j/k Good times. damn those are some high 60 footers.yeah i guess you might have had some traction problems off the line
.i would say that with optimum traction you should definetely be in the mid 14's.my car(in the sig) runs a 2.26 60',and with your mods you should be around 2.0,if not high 1.9's i would think.could be wrong though.

I am going to try and get back either april 26th, or may 3rd. I will have the rear tires lowered to about 20 psi this time instead of around 40 psi. I will also spin my tires more to try and lock the differential. If I am lucky, I will have my TB bored to 48mm by then. May be interesting.
Nice RS you have there,
