You didn't happen to rotate the rear wheels to the front did you?

nope. the front wheels are on the front and the rear wheels are on the back. Im not sure what it is. I think that it might be that plastic peice where the fenders are to protect the engine from getting any rocks or anything in there. Thats what it rubbing maybe. Should I take the wheel off and check.

Sounds like your describing your air dam, that's to help with cooling.

All Camaros have wheel wells.

I've heard that a particular suspension piece can cause a sound like the tires rubbing when you turn the front wheels almost to their end play. Maybe someone familiar with the problem can help. I think it is a sign that the part is getting worn.

So if THAT piece rubs on the wheel why dont you cut it off, bend it out of the way, burn it off, see WHY it's rubbing and attempt to affix it back somehow, etc etc ... ?!??? Do you want us to go to your house and do it for you ? lol

He must be talking about the inner fender skirts.

In my experience, if it sounds like it's rubbing there, it probably is. Pull the wheel off and look for evidence of it rubbing. A lot of times you can use a heat gun to "re mold" the plastic away from the tire.

I am familiar with what you are talking about, but there was a distinct mark on the inner plastic fender well. Mine was hosed due to the pervious owner's improper installation of a bra.
