Charcoal Canister Move...

I am sick of all my under hood clutter!!!!

But I am doing things about it. The cruise control- Gone! But I need the charcoal canister. (Right?) Where do I put it? It cant go where it is, passenger side battery area, because I am going to make a fiberglass air box.

I named some suggestions but you guys feel free to add more...

Well if you keep it, make sure you mout it just how it was from factory. If ya mount it on its side or somethin, it wont work.

i recently did an engine swap and removed my AIR pump so i am ditching the canister as well. make sure that you plug the hole on the throttle body that the plastic line use to go to. also, do not plug the fuel line vent hose. just leave it alone. it should make a bad fuel smell but if it bothers you then take the whole fuel vent line out and let the tank vent from above the rear end. dont toss it if you need emission testing.

Can't you just connect the vapor line from the carb to the line on the charcoal canister that goes back to the tank??

Well considering that the car is going in for emmisions in the summer, I think that I am going to mive it 4 inches inwars to make way for the filter box... Make a bracket for it to reat on, but the first chance I get, I am tossing it...
