New engine smoke

Is it normal for a new engine to smoke a little until the rings break in? Blue smoke that is...

Every engine I build smokes for awhile, The answer to your question is yes, BUT I have seen some that haven't.

Thanks.. Ok, I won't worry yet... It has 0 miles on it... only about 2 hours of garage run time... smoke isn't bad... just slightly visable... I've had so many other problems with this thing I'm just a little jumpy
