Instrument Cluster Pics...which would you go with?

My car came with custom wood paneling. It's real wood, and the wood itself looks nice. However, I think I like the original look better.

Take a look at this photo and tell me what you think.

That's odd. It never picked it up I guess. Here we go.

Ditch the wood, that's so tacky.

Here's one last pic. I agree, I like the factory condition much better.

The gauges are actually out of an 85 IROC. The person I bought them from created some templates, edited and added a few things and then printed them out on Kodak photo paper then glued them on the instrument cluster.

Kinda neat.

Hey Mark, I was waching your long ride video, AWESOME. Where do you live? That first house on the right on your video looks almost exactly like my home. Of course I definately don't live where ever you live ( I live in Southern Arizona and we have to pay for that much shade), but it is very beautiful country.

I've got some fake wood-grain in my 89 that's much darker..

Personally, I think it gives a sort of luxurious italian feel to my american-made vehicle

This is actually real wood. The wood itself is very nice. The laquer is dried and beginning to crack though. I think that the darker look makes the gauges jump out better though.

To each his own!
