I believe they now set up the board so that you're automatically "logged out" (logging out entails clearing cookies) after a certain amount of time because so many people have been having problems with the cookies lately.

No cookie problems here unless this is one...I rarely get the pics when I click on the " show me your pic" type post. Can someone explain?

So if I log out and log back in that will clear out the cookies??

Never had a problem here... you guys using the latest internet explorer? Did you know that a couple months ago, Microsoft released a patch which "does it all" for IE? As in, if you haven't been up to date on the patches, this brings you totally current. There's links from Microsoft's website.

Just another aspect of the MicroSoft virus, er, programming. Dump MS Internet Destroyer and use Nutscrape, and your problems will likely go away. Someday, MicroSoft might be as good as some of the older versions of Nutscrape - maybe.

I wish they would hurry up and break up that monopoly so the world can go on. Hats off to the States' Attorneys General that won't let the federal judge ram a settlement down their throats, like a scene from a Tommy Lee video.

Speaking of ramming it in, Gates may be laughing now, but how big will his smile be in a federal graybar? Then again, guys like him probably like that kind of thing. I'll bet he drives an import, too.

It's weird though that within in the past couple days I've had problems of having to keep logging in, everything was fine before.

I was a Netscape fan, but had to move to IE, seems like everything's coded for IE now, and Netscape 6 didn't float my boat. But I didn't have to log back in this morning in order to post, so, I don't think it's the thirdgen.org server. In your "user cp" screen (near search at the top right), go to "change options", and make sure "browse board with cookies" is set to Yes.

Perhaps it's your IP? I had that problem at work once, and it occurred with either browser. I eliminated the situation at home with Netscape and it's more open setup options.
