I avg about 180 per tank filling up with 10 gallons. I try not to run it dry, that puts a strain on the fuel pump.

I get about 300 miles per tank with little over 150,000 miles on the oil burning machine.

300 miles per tank pure highway. 200 miles per tank pure city.

alrite then! I have to say you are all lucky!

I get a whopping 110 miles per tank in the city, or about 9-11mpg. However, on the highway, my mileage jumps to right around 23.
I dont gun the car(that much) I drive the car like an old lady, the car has a fairly mild cam, and 2.73 gears!

so what is my problem?

Dang, I've never heard of such a large jump. Oh, and driving a car like an old lady can be just as bad. You might have some carbon build up in there.

Myself, just around 150mi. But as Mark said, I dont let it get to low, I seem to get around 10-11mpg...but I'll be the first to admit, my driving style has NOTHING to do with economy..

No carbon worries here.....

I have a brand new .030 over 305 and still get only 140-180 miles per tank. It's disgusting.

I get about 230 miles per tank average

This is why it's not a daily driver

I seldom push it to empty but I can usually go 250-275 till I get to 1/4 tank, I avg. about 20 MPG for normal driving. I have gone as far as 450 miles on a tank, but that was on a long straight interstate @70MPH with the ac on, but that was pushing it too far, I think I put 15 gallons in that time = 30 MPG.

Recently:
Charleston-Chicago ; ~180 MPH according to maps.yahoo.com
took me ~1 hour 45 minutes... average speed 100 MPH..
fuel consumption ~11 gallons
I used WOT a lot and drove really aggressively.

Urbana-Champaign - Chicago; ~130 MPH (yahoo again)
took me ~1 hour 15 minutes... averaged slightly below 100 MPH..
it rained, so I drove very uniformly keeping 95-100 most of the time
fuel consumption ~8 gallons

Lesson: don't floor it if gasoline is expensive where you live

I get close to 250 miles to a US 16 gallon tank around town.

On the highway I'm guessing it will do 25 mpg or better.

That's 400 miles per tank in Americanese.

Or as we loyal subjects of Her Brittanic Majesty Queen Elizabeth II say, 644 kilometers per 61 liter tank.

On my last tank I got 23mpg. With a 15.5 gallon tank that would be 356.5 miles per tank. But I usually fill up between 280 and 300 miles.
