You should at the least be in the high 14s with a 91 TPI (305 I'm guessing based on the T-tops).
Is the car in good tune? All sensors functioning properly? What about the tranny? If auto is it shifting properly?
Post a time slipand your car's powerplant/tranny, it will help with the diagnosis.

305/auto that sounds about right. 305/5spd with G92 is good for mid 14s, other than that only 350 cars I know of that are in the 14s.

Depends on your definition of "fast". Will an Altima do 145 and hold the road without blowing over in its own wake turbulence? Your car will....

And not many people would call a 16-second Benz 5-series "fast" at the track, but I wouldn't want to be driving that "fast" Altima in front of one on the Autobahn or I-94 in Montana, either.

How were the reaction and 60' times?

stock numbers should be somewhere around this:

305 TBI: low 16's
305 TPI: low 15's
305 TPI w/ G92:mid - high 14's
350 TPI: low 14's

I've got my 305 TBI down to 15.4 with small easy mods.. not bad so far, I'd say, especially for 175k on the clock with no rebuilds.. I bet I could get your car down to around 15.2 you just gotta practice ... depends on the takeoff, 60 foot and your shift points.. did you shift manually or just stick it in drive and go?

Transmission: 700r4 (for now)
move the shifter...1...2...3...od...and yes, your 305's are slow...as well as your stock 350's.....you can thank the EPA for that...easy to fix though.. Cam & Head swap.( at least for the 350.)
Speed =$$$

Now if you want fast here is the motor you want, just ask MadMax..LOL https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...hreadid=112263

1991 Z-28, ever thought of showing that car instead of racing it?
