Gas Smell
In my 82 Z-28 i have the smell of gas after traveling at 50 mph. What could it be what should i check? Do i have a leak? I get pretty bad get mileage?

If you have no emissions equipment, I'm guessing that means you have no EVAP canister. If that's the case, how are you controlling fuel tank pressure? What I'm thinking is that concentrated exhaust heat from the muffler may be heating the tank enough to increase the vapor pressure, and it is venting at your former connection to the EVAP canister.
