Dude your sig is so long that I forgot what the question was.

It's easer to get a car to run low 14 with a 350.

just buy a car with a V8 ,,,drop a crate motor in it,,,turn the key and drive,,,,LT4,s are good value,,,,,i think this is your solution,,,,forget weld tech heads and no2 ,,, just turn that key,,less you got $$$,,,even a budget cost money,,,and you will find you want more,,,,before you know its out of control $$$$,

2.2kb of text will not take anyone a significant amount of time to load, it's just an eyesore to see so much.

To get 14s out of that LG4 I'd suggest getting a good cam from comp cams, some aluminum L98 heads, roller rockers, a decent set of headers and a cut out, and a new torque converter for that tranny that stalls at least around 2500rpms. A lot of 305s run the LT1 cams with moderate success, but I'd suggest something a bit more aggressive if you want low 14s(and obviously get a flat tappet, not a roller cam..just wanted to show you what you should aim above). The aluminum L98 heads are good because they already have screw in studs. If you had a v6 in the car before, it's probably got decent gears in the rear. I wouldn't touch the short block as long as it's in decent condition. Hopefully that's not 137k miles :\ A little NO2 will help

If you've still got money, some subframe connectors and some nice LCAs would do the car wonders.
