Cylinder Head cleaning question!
I have a set of heads im putting on my thirgen and they're off my other car, and in good condition they just need some of the surface mess cleaned up, im wondering what i should use to clean them that wont hurt anything, theyre all assembled, valves and all
I've heard that oven cleaner and a garden hose works well.
Don't be afraid to scrub.
I'm in the same boat, but I disassembled mine, and sent them to a machine shop to be cleaned and magnafluxed.

I took mine apart, then used wd40 and a scotchbright pad, takes some work but it doesnt scratch or mess anything up. I got some pictures I can put up later on. I actualy only finished 1 so far, I gotta go do the other then put them on.
