Headers..?

What headers would be good for a 305 with 650 cfm edelbrock carb and edelbrock proformer intake? Motor is going to stay pretty much stock with maybe 1 or 2 more small mods

Well if you're on a budget, I really like my Flowtech headers.

Well it’s pretty much what iroc said it’s all in the budget or what you can find for cheep. i had edelbrock and i actually did not mind them too much and thought they were not to bad, i took a grinder to the inside of the ports on them because its quite disgusting in there and needs to be cleaned up a bit but other than that there really not that bad also i did not get them jet coated but i did pick up some 1500 deg spray paint and put a few layers on and did not have ONE bit of a problem of rust for little over a year and i live very close to the ocean. but currently i have the slp try-Y design headers that i picked up at a junkyard for 50 bucks a deal that i could not say no to and there little bit of a bitch when it comes to bolting them up and tiring to make the y pipe to the headers not leak. For a 305 you probably want 5/8 size primaries and a 3/4 would probably be over kill.

Hooker headers. I don't care for my TES headers. Flowtech is pretty much junk, but if you're lookin for cheap, that's the way to go.

I don't know man, ever since Holley bought them out, they have been producing some quality stuff. Holley probably made sure that they smartened up or something. I was really surprised when I got mine, they have really clean welds and smooth bends. I thought I was buying a pile of junk when I ordered them.
