Smog pump removal and cat

I f I was to remove the smog pump will taht effect the catalytic converter? Doesnt it get the fresh air from pump?

if ur removin the smog pump... i assume u dont need to worry about emissions...therefore i would get a 2.25" piece of pipe and delete the cat.

You'd cap the air line on the cat. Mine is welded shut (used Cat). I probably have to get it to work for smog time in Feb.

Doesn't plugging the line to the cat cause the cat to hit up and do bad bad things.

smog pump to cat

Running a hose or line from the smog pump directly to the cat, would that still serve the same purpose as all the hoses from the manifolds to the cat. Wouldn`t doing that would still keep the smog pump and still clean up all the hoses?

just do what i do......i live in nj..........my parents live in florida......we all know nj emmissions are tough as hell.....so i registered the car in florida at my parents address..........no emmissions in florida............so 3 inch catback and no cat.....who hoooooo...........
