don't really matter what i use more important is what your engine combo likes. i use .045. try .050 and see what happens, try something else and see if it's better or worse.

Underneather the hood, there is a sticker (on the bottom of the hood). It will tell you the gap , the timing, the belts, and other stuff!

I gap mine at .035" That's whats specified for my year. I run a MSD coil and Taylor wires and I think .035" works just fine. I would probably get more power out of a wider gap though.

When I put the new plugs in I gapped them at .045, ran great. Then I read the sticker under the hood said .035, so I regapped 'em at .035. Lost power and 2 mpg. I compromised at .040, seems to work fine but .045 felt a little better. All fac. ign.
Been almost 30k and haven't checked a plug yet.

A dude at the parts store told me .60 using the MSD HEI coil. Since the plugs are such a pain in the a$$ to change(still got the smog crap in the way), I couldn't bring myself to try it. I went with .45 but next plug change I'm going to give .50 a try. Anyhoo, its up to you!

.060 seems way to big, even with the MSD coil. i have an coil in cap HEI and have the MSD coil and MSD module and even then i think the highest they suggest is .055 and you should likely try .050 first.

The larger gaps, (.045-.060") are fine as long as you have a good coil and plug wires.
I run .050".

ya you definetly need a good ignition system to support plug gaps in excess of .055.
