SO what can I do about this dent in my oil pan ?

I got a set of pictures to show you all here. The old oil pan was cracked right next to the dipstick area where the crank counterweight was hitting for the last three months. Eventually it wore a hole in it and it started to make A LOT of noise. Got a new pan, put it on and now it's hitting in the same spot. What would be the best way to clearance the pan to clear the 400's 3.75" stroke ? Cut a notch out and reweld it ? Pound the **** of it ? Any ideas ?

Here's some pics.. First the old oil pan. A chrome Spectre model...

OK, so you had a spectre oil pan, it didn't clear the crank, had interference, and eventually cracked the pan.
So you bought ANOTHER spectre oil pan to replace it, and now you're looking for suggestions to remedy the same problem?

I think the answer is pretty clear here. Don't buy cheap generic oil pans and expect them to fit correctly, especially on a unique application like a 400. Other than that, feel free to hack it and whack it to fit as much as needed. Worst case you only need to buy another oil pan anyway...
