I have the car in the sig, when I am driving it on the street it seems so damn slow, it should be at least a high 13 second car, but I will findout when I go to the track this weekend. The reason I say its slow is because I have a hard time passing people, not from a stop but from a roll(40+mph). I have beaten a 2002 LS1, it was my friends dads car, he said he didnt take off much but when he stated gunnin it he didnt pass me and didnt pull much(if at all) And that I pulled really well. So is it just a mental thing? Or does it seem slow from driving it all the time as well as driving my dads 12 second SS?

just to let you know though this might get moved to the tech/engine board due to not being racing info


but you might want to do a tune up and start checking things out like vac leaks, timing and stuff like that


how does it idle

does it bog anywhere

stuff like that

 

It idles fine when it is warmed up, I think I need to replace the coolant temp sensor, its the only thing I havent fixed yet and the idle when cold is really bad. Mods, if need be move this to tech.

I always though mine seemed slow too, but after running next to some cars, while spinning the tires and still beating them by many car lengths, I realized it is just me. I have people get scared in my car, whereas I am complaining about bogging it. It is just you, don't worry, when you are used to the car it seems slow!

It's just you..my LS1 felt like it was getting slow. I drove the delivery van from work for a week while my LS1 was at the dealer getting fixed. I found out when I got it back it was definitly just me. When i got into the gas at 30 mph with the TCS off and left a strip i realized it was just me..lol..definitly just me
