...topic. This is really important though, i want to know if there are any guys here with mechanical engineering degrees...

I NEED opinions from people who are actually in the work field, everyone here is really helpful so i come here to ask.

i am planning on switching into the major if the jobs are good and salaries and such... if anyone doesnt mind telling me what kind of jobs were offered to them and what they accepted, you can just email me to keep this more private, ampatel1@vt.edu

I am also very interested in this it is my major and i should be doing Home work for it now, any way i would love to hear this also.

 

a like making money as much as the next guy, maybe even more, but i think you should consider doing what you enjoy as much as doing it for the jack

 

see, i started out as a computer programmer, makes great money, but honestly i have begun to hate programming with a passion... and mechanical engineering is the only thing my mind is set to work on, i want to learn to use autoCAD and inventor and such and design some cool stuff... maybe our 5th gen

i will be a mech engineer in 4 years. im a freshmen at York College in PA.
