Is this the GM one?
If so, it's a ZZ4 and some stuff to basically turn a LG4 into a L69 clone except it's a ZZ4. That's basically the only way to "convert" a 305 to a 350, is to unbolt the 305, and bolt in the 350.

techniqu3: I plan on doing this conversion at some point in the future. You can find lots of information about it here: https://www.spoperformanceparts.com/...119&CATID=1099
As it will say in the description somewhere, this kit is for a 1982-87 Camaro originally equipped with an LG4 or L69 305ci V8 engine and a 700R4 automatic tranmission.
You can't buy the kit at that site, but you can get it at a number of other sites, including GMP Direct.

If you're talking about the GM conversion kit, it's been discontinued (I just checked the site). I would do it on your own anyways. You could have a very healthy engine with a bunch of goodies for $5,000.

I care. I would never say that I "converted" to a 350 because it sounds awkward to me. Conversion implies changing something--be it an engine, a number, a molecule--to something else. In this case they are replacing the short block, the exhaust, and a ton of other parts..yeah, I guess they're converting it. It still sounds weird to me. You can't "convert" a 305 to a 350, right? You replace a 305 with the 350. Gosh, I hate words.

Well, if you boys insist on being boys, keep on arguing. This is the title on the GMPP site:
"10185077 - HO 350 Camaro Conversion"
The beginning text: "Chevrolet engineers have developed an emission-legal conversion kit to insall a High Output 5.7-liter (350ci) small-block V8 in a 1982-87 Camaro originally equipped with an LG4 or L69 305ci V8 engine and a 700R4 automatic transmission."
It's no longer being produced, but stock may still be available.
FWIW, from my Webster's:
conversion - 1. a converting or being converted.
convert - 1. to change from one form or use to another; transform.
swap - to exchange, trade, or barter.
Hmmm, considering the "transformation" in performance going from LG4 to ZZ4, perhaps "conversion" is more accurate...

This is one complete what ever! It is a very good price for all the parts you get, I mean right down to sticker on the gas cap. Ask the GM dealer for the instruction book or buy it. The instruction book cost me about $13.00 bucks.

I scanned the instruction manual and posted links to it in this thread. The way the manual is written it's more of a conversion than a swap.
