90* adapter for doing compression check with headers?

I can't test the compress on the #5 cylinder because the collector the the headers is in the way. i have about 3 inches of total clearence. if i were to have a 90* adapter or something that i can screw into the block, and then screw the compression tester peice into that then it would make things 400% easier.. im having a terrible terrible missfire that im trying to diagnose. and so far i have 180 psi for 1,3,7. i just need to know what 5 is!!!

make one, break the white part out of a plug, braze the correct connection on it and screw it in then connect the the gauge to it.
