Vacume Line Help

I live in Cali and i bought a car from out of state. Unfortionately here we have those nice (HA!) smog laws and the car didnt have any smog So I bought a new motor with all the smog on it. Now i gotta figure out how to hook it all up.

well My car is an 82 T/a. It had a Vaccume advance Distributer withthe coil mounted on top of the distributer. Is that car supposed to have a vaccume advance? Does any of yours? There does the vaccume line from the distributer plug in at if so? Thanks
James

Your car is not supposed to have a vacuum advance distributor.

The thing at the top right is the computer's vacuum sensor, otherwise known as the MAP sensor. It's a little box that should be mounted on the firewall behind the brake booster.

The T/A should have had the dual-snokel:

But that car should also have had an Electronic Spark Timing system and no mechanical nor vacuum advance distributor.
