INFL reset......

i posted this in electronics but haven't gotten an answer so maybe someone here can help me.........when i start my car it flashes INFL resest on the gauge panel it last for a few seconds then quits.........anyone know what this means? or why it is doing it? the car seems to be running fine but i want to get it fixed

That's pretty normal. The "INFL REST", "SIR" or "AIR BAG" light should flash when the ignition is first turned on. Each flash should indicate the test of one of the sensors in the system, so there should be several flashes, then the lamp should remain off. When the engine is cranked, the lamp will flash again several times, but should then turn off.
