Computerised car...
In an effort to make my car look even more cooler then it is (yes its possible
) i want to have a computer desplay in my car that gives me details about my car such as speed torque temp air/fuel mixture and such i heard something from one of my freind and he said that i was possible but i want to check it with u guys first before i waste time / money investing in usless hopes to make my car look cooler

I have seen a few things out there that you can build. Like this one for the 747 ECM (which did not come in thirdgens)

Speed and temperature are already displayed on the factory supplied instruments.
Torque cannot be reliable calculated by the ECM, but can be presumed, so that display would be meaningless. Unless you installed an in-line torque transducer (BIG $$$) to transmit driveline torque at any moment, you won't get a true indication of that.
A/F ratio can be displayed, but the rapid crosscounts generated by the ECM would require a buffer to make for a meaningful display. Most of us used to call that a "vacuum gauge". You could generate similar electronic information with a MAP sensor slaved to a display.
It seems like a lot of effort for mostly useless information. The ECM was installed to monitor most of that for you, anyway, so your car is already computerized. It would be a nice addition to a Honda Prelude, however, since the distraction from the display would tend to divert passenger attention away from the fact that they are riding in a slow, ugly, underperforming POS.
Anybody wanna check the stove? I think my rice is boiling over....

my friend is kinda doing that with his 96 jeep charokee.. but hes actualy trying to make the car controlled by his computer. like windows, lights, door locks, stereo, etc etc.. and is making a display to show everything, including speed and other instrument panel guages.. and the best part is he is building everything from scratch... even the programing... and this all started because he wanted speed regulted windshield wipers that sped up when his car speed sped up..
