Battery or Alternator?
Less than 5 months ago I purchased the most expensive alternator from Murray's and less than 2 weeks ago I bought a new battery. My car runs fine during the day time but at night when the lights and heat are on the blinkers dont work, my lights are dim, and to sum it all up, when I turn the car off I wont start again unless I get a boost. Is my alternator bad already? Or could something else be draining the battery? I dont have a stereo that requires excess power.
rebuilt alternators aren't known for long life and ones from discount stores don't have good history of lasting long. you need to get the system tested. m,ight be a loose wire or ground. have you looked at it or done any trouble shooting?

If you have a volt meter get the car started and test voltage, should be around 13.5 volts give er take .5, if you do not have a meter then, agian get the car running, disconnect the battery, most cars, with "good" alternators will stay running. HTH
